Town Trip

(Dominicalito, Costa Rica)

Today we took a family trip to town. Slightly different from your regular minivan run to the grocery store. Because we’re enjoying the Pacific life and our location is determined by the presence of waves, the dinghy landings are near impossible or simply non-existent.

Our outing involved a two person drop off at the back of the break that saw Kancer and I swimming through surf to the beach. Followed up shortly by Gregory and Max who anchored Marie out back and made the swim too.

Once we were all shoe-less into Dominical though, it was just like any other town trip. We went out for coffee, bought some produce from the roadside truck, and placated our consumer urges. Max bought himself a beauty of a new surfboard, I found a teak shot glass, and we all enjoyed a meal out.

Back at the boat Max got right to putting the final touches on his new Rusty.
