The Business Side of Cruising

(Green Turtle Cay, Abacos, Bahamas)

Logan and Caroline are not only awesome friends that you sail to the Bahamas with, they are business owners too. They own a sailing school and charter company in New York.  And while their business allows them to spend the winters aboard Gemini in the Bahamas, they are always working away on Atlantic Yachting.

With work to do we moved Gemini to Green Turtle Cay and dinghied ashore. First order of business was to clear customs. With that complete we devoured some conch fritters, a local favourite, then started our hunt for wifi.

We eventually found some at a local marina, as is the norm, and where happy to pay the going fee – a round of beers!
