Highway 40, Alberta – somewhere between Grande Cache and Hinton

(Highway 40, Alberta)

Our last morning in Grande Prairie, and somehow we didn’t get on the road until 5pm. Destination Kelowna, 1123km away.

We set off in Greg’s 1989 Toyota pickup towing our 1972 Boler. Beauty set up, we know. Now Yota isn’t the biggest fan of mountain driving and the Boler had deemed its lights un-operational, so, as the title location denotes where we laid our heads that night, you can see we didn’t make it very far.  Somewhere less than 300km from our departure, we were pulled off on the side of the highway catching some sub-zero zzz’s in the Boler.
